Aligned starts from your tradition and learns your church from your own sermons and documents. Where your church has spoken, that's the answer it's built to follow, not a generic one.

You choose your tradition and Bible translations, and only your church's owner can change them.

Name a passage and Aligned pulls its exact wording in your translation, so the quote is grounded in the real text, not the AI's memory.

Nothing made up in your name

Aligned helps you write, not invent your life. It's built to keep made-up stories, quotes and statistics out of what you preach.

It's built not to invent personal stories. Illustrations are framed as “imagine…” or left as a placeholder for your own.
In sermon and study drafts, Aligned watches for a first-person story you never told it and points it out, so you can swap in the real one.
When an answer draws on Scripture, your sermons or your documents, tap Sources to see which ones.
It's built to tell you when it can't finish something, not pretend a task is done.

A helper, not a pastor

Aligned supports your calling. It doesn't replace it, or you. Prayer, discernment and shepherding stay with people.

It's built never to present itself as a pastor, a counselor, or a substitute for prayer and professional care.
No “God told me.” It's built to offer Scripture and questions for discernment, never a word from God about your life.
It's built to point someone in crisis to real help: 988, 911, and the people around them.
In Aligned Church, a prayer request that suggests someone may be at risk is held off the prayer list and flagged for a pastor.
In Aligned Leader, an automated email or text to anyone outside your staff always waits for a church leader's approval, so nothing reaches your congregation on autopilot.

Aligned drafts and prepares. You decide what goes out, and your church's information stays your church's.

What goes out

Emails, texts and invites go out only when you say so, or on an automation you turned on yourself.
Approvals show you a preview first.
It's built to tell a question from a command, so asking about something won't set it in motion.

What stays yours

Your sermons, documents and notes are walled off to your church, never shown to another.
We don't use your content to train general-purpose AI.
Journal entries are private to you. No one else at your church can see them.
Your church's owner can see what the assistant has been learning and clear it anytime.

It’s still AI. You’re still the pastor.

Aligned can get a detail wrong: a date, a name, a shade of interpretation. That’s why it shows what it drew from, flags what needs a second look, and leaves the final word to you. Read it before you preach it.

Under the hood

A promise is only as good as what enforces it. Here’s what holds these up.

Walled off by church: Every search of sermons, documents and notes is filtered to your church on our servers before the AI sees anything. Your journal and your main chats are locked to you in the database, so no one else at your church can open them.
Approvals the AI can't grant itself: Nothing sends on the AI's say-so. It takes your approval, which our servers check, your direct request, or an automation you switched on.
Scripture from a licensed source: Passages you name are fetched from a licensed Bible text service in your selected translation (or its marked stand-in while we license it) and handed to the AI as the text to quote.
Checks in code, not just instructions: Beyond the AI's own instructions, code-level checks flag invented first-person stories, block requests for explicit content, and hold automated messages to anyone outside your staff for a leader's approval.
Tested before it ships: Every change runs our automated test suite, chat is health-checked after each release, and new AI models are compared side by side on real ministry work before we switch.
