Get your church's app on your phone
Service times, sermons, events and giving are easier to find when your church is one tap away. If your church has its own app, it's in the App Store and Google Play under your church's name. If it doesn't, you can put its website on your home screen, and it opens just like an app.
1/2 · Install the app and open it
- 1Search for your church's name in the App Store or Google PlayOr tap the app link your church shares. The app is listed under your church's own name. If nothing comes up, your church may not have an app yet — the website steps below work instead.
- 4On an iPhone, tap Share in Safari, then Add to Home ScreeniPhones never show an install bar. Open your church's website in Safari, tap the Share button (the square with an arrow), scroll down, tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
Good to know
- Giving works in the app too. You choose your gift in the app, and the card step opens your phone's browser to finish — that's how the app stores and payment companies require it. Apple Pay and saved cards aren't available inside the app.
- Links to other websites open in your phone's browser rather than inside the app. That's expected.
If it’s not working
I can't find my church's app
Not every church has one. Ask your church for its app link, or put its website on your home screen instead — it opens the same way.
I'm not getting notifications from my church's app
Church apps don't send notifications to your phone right now. Your church's emails and texts are how news reaches you, so make sure your church has your current email and mobile number.
I don't see an Install bar on the website
It shows only on a return visit, only in browsers that offer it (like Chrome on Android), and only if your church turned it on. Use your browser's menu instead, or Safari's Share button on an iPhone.
Something I heard about on Sunday isn't in the app
The app shows your church's website as it is right now. If your church hasn't added it to the website yet, it isn't in the app either — check back later or ask your church.
