Fix a texting registration that needs something
A texting registration that's missing something, or that the carriers send back, stops until someone fixes it. Aligned tells you exactly what's needed, by email and on the texting card, and keeps the rest of your answers. It's usually a few minutes' work.
1/7 · Open Manage, then choose Messages from the page menu
Good to know
- Got an email titled “One thing needed” about your texting registration? That's a filing on hold. It names the missing item, and the fix is the same: Edit & resubmit on the Text messaging card.
- If the email asks for a named contact, the account that owns your church has no name on it. Reply to that email with the full name of the person signing for your church, and someone adds it for you.
- Each missing item is emailed once. If you fix one thing and the filing is held for something different, you get one email about that too.
If it’s not working
I fixed it but the card still says On hold
The filing is checked again about once an hour, and your corrected answers are picked up then. If it's still on hold after that, the card names what it's waiting for now.
The carriers sent it back again with the same note
Compare your legal name and EIN letter by letter with your IRS paperwork, including words like “Inc.” or “of”. If they match and it keeps coming back, press Help at the bottom of the left rail and someone can look at the exact stage.
I don't see an Edit & resubmit button
Changing a registration needs a seat that can make changes in Manage. Ask your church's owner, or have them fix it.
It's been days and it still says Pending carrier approval
That's the carriers' review, and nothing is missing on your side. Two weeks from start to finish isn't unusual. You're emailed the moment your number is live.
