Good to know

  • Attached a file in the Church chat? Files don't travel with your words. Attach it again in Aligned Leader with the + beside its message box.
  • A class as a record stays in Aligned Church: the sign-up, the roster or the schedule for a membership class is Church work. Only the teaching itself goes to Aligned Leader.
  • Anything that also names a Church job, like “post the sermon to social” or “send a text about Sunday's sermon”, stays in Aligned Church and gets done there.
  • The Leader | Church switch at the top left moves you between the two any time.

If it’s not working

Aligned Leader asked me to choose a tradition first

The first time a church owner opens Aligned Leader, it asks once for your church's tradition, so every draft matches what your church believes. It's saved, and you won't be asked again. A guest picks one too, before the first message.

I wanted a page on our website, not a sermon

Name the Church job in the same sentence, like “make a sermon series page on the website”. A request that names a site page, a post or a text stays in Aligned Church.

My document didn't come across

Only your words travel with the button. Attach the file again in Aligned Leader's message box.
