Move donors' saved cards and recurring gifts
The families who give every month shouldn't have to re-enter a card because you changed platforms. With Full Carryover, the Aligned team moves your donors' saved cards and recurring schedules from your old platform. You fill in one short request, and your old platform keeps working until the move is done.

Good to know
- Old platform dragging its feet? Press Switch to Fresh Start instead — everything you've done counts, and you can invite your donors the same day.
- The first time a moved card is used, the donor confirms its last four digits once. It's a safety check, not re-entering the card.
- Donors who give by bank transfer need at least a week's notice before their first charge here.
If it’s not working
It says "Card migration requests belong to the Full Carryover path"
You're on Fresh Start. Press Switch to Full Carryover instead at the top of Switch & migrate, then send the request.
Tell your donors is locked
On Full Carryover it opens when your donors' cards land, so nobody is asked to sign in to nothing. It also needs approved giving and at least one imported donor with an email address.
It's been weeks and the cards haven't landed
The wait is almost always your old platform producing the file. The Aligned team is chasing it. If you'd rather not wait, switch to Fresh Start — your donors set their gift up once on your new page.
A donor says they were asked for their card's last four digits
That's expected — a one-time check the first time a moved card is used.
