Set up a monthly gift

A recurring gift means your giving keeps going on busy weeks and vacation Sundays without you thinking about it. You set it up once on your church's giving page, and each gift sends its own receipt.

Good to know

  • Gave once and want to keep going? The thank-you screen may offer Make this a monthly gift (Make it $…/month if you gave with a saved card). It suggests a monthly amount, often smaller than today's gift, that you can change later in Your giving, and it starts next month so you're not charged twice today.
  • Already signed in? In Your giving, + Set up a recurring gift brings you back to this form.
  • You can change the amount, skip a gift, pause or cancel any time from Your giving — no need to call the church office.

If it’s not working

There's no Give regularly tab

Your church hasn't turned on recurring gifts for its giving page. You can still give once, and your church can tell you whether it plans to offer recurring gifts.

I got an email saying my recurring gift didn't go through

Usually the card expired or was replaced. Tap Update your card here in that email to add the new one. We try again on our own, but after four failed tries the gift stops.

I want to change how much or how often

Open Your giving and tap Change gift on the gift. You don't need to cancel it and start over.

I set a start date — was I charged today?

No. A gift with a later start date charges nothing until that day, and your first receipt comes then.
