Make Aligned sound like you
A draft that sounds like a stranger wrote it is more work than a blank page. Aligned learns your voice from what you've already preached and your church's beliefs from what you've already written — this takes about five minutes to start, and it keeps learning from there.

Good to know
- Got a playlist that's only sermons? Paste the playlist link instead of your channel — then announcements and worship sets never come in at all.
- Sermons usually arrive within the hour, a few at a time. Your 10 most recent come in on the free plan, and Sync another 10 reaches further back whenever you like. Pro syncs your whole YouTube library.
- Star your best sermons (0–5 stars on each sermon under Web & Video, or in Media → Open sermon library). Starred sermons count the most when Aligned learns your voice.
- Everything in the Brain is included on the free plan — there's no document limit.
If it’s not working
The scan says “We couldn't read meaningful text from that site.”
Some sites are mostly pictures or video, so there's little text to read. Open Documents and paste in your beliefs and about-us text instead — Aligned uses it exactly the same way.
The scan says the site is behind bot protection
Some website hosts block every automated reader. Nothing is wrong with your account. Paste your key pages into Documents, or message us and we'll help add it.
Last Sunday's sermon isn't there yet
Press Sync now on the YouTube card to check your channel straight away. New sermons usually appear within an hour. One without captions has to be transcribed from its audio, which can take longer — it shows Pending until then.
I added something but the strength meter didn't tick
The meter is read when the Brain opens. Leave the Brain and open it again. A file only ticks Statement of faith or First sermon added once Aligned has read it and filed it that way.
There's no Brain in my menu
If you're on a church's staff, the owner can turn off staff access to the Church Brain. Ask them to switch Let staff add to the Brain back on in Settings → Staff.
