Bring in your sermons from YouTube
The sermons that sound most like you are already on YouTube. Connect your channel once and Aligned transcribes them, learns how you preach from them, and keeps bringing in each new message on its own.

Good to know
- On the free plan your 10 most recent sermons come in first. Press Sync another 10 above your channel to reach further back, as often as you like. Pro brings in your whole YouTube library.
- That limit only decides how far back Aligned goes. Each new Sunday's sermon still comes in on its own.
- Captions and Whisper both mean the transcript is in — they only say how it was made.
- YouTube sermons are listed under Web & Video and in Media, not under Documents. They're in your Brain all the same.
If it’s not working
It says “We couldn't find a YouTube channel at …”
Open your channel on YouTube and copy the address from your browser — it looks like https://www.youtube.com/@yourchurch — then paste that and press Connect again. A playlist link works too.
Some of my videos say Skipped
Aligned passes over videos that aren't sermons: clips and anything under about ten minutes, announcements, worship sets and promos, streams longer than four hours, and videos without captions that run over 90 minutes. The row doesn't say which reason applied. If a real sermon was skipped, tell us from Support.
Last Sunday's sermon isn't there yet
Press Sync now on your channel card to check straight away. New sermons usually appear within an hour. One without captions is transcribed from its audio, which can take longer — it shows Pending until then.
The whole service came in, music and announcements too
That's expected when your church posts one video for the whole service — it comes in as one sermon. If you also post the message on its own, connect a sermon-only playlist or add a title filter so the same Sunday isn't in twice.
I disconnected my channel — are my sermons gone?
No. Disconnecting stops new sermons coming in, but everything already transcribed stays in your Brain and in Media. Reconnecting the same channel later would bring them in a second time.
