An account is what lets Aligned remember your church, your tradition and your work. It's free — 200 requests a month, no card — and it takes under a minute. Go to aligned.church/signup, or tap Create account on the Aligned welcome screen, where the same fields open in a window.

Good to know

  • Chatted as a guest first? It comes with you. If it made a draft, the first card on your new home screen, marked Saved to your church, says your draft is yours now — See what it can become opens it, ready to keep working on.
  • Next time, sign in at aligned.church/login. The switch under Open after sign-in decides where you land — leave Leader raised for Aligned Leader.
  • One account works in Aligned Leader and Aligned Church, and in the phone and Mac apps.

If it’s not working

It says “An account with this email already exists. Try signing in.”

You already have an account with that address. Sign in instead — if you don't remember the password, choose Email code on the sign-in page and we'll email you a code. Please don't sign up again with a different address: that creates a second, empty church, and your work stays on the first one.

It won't take my email, or asks “Did you mean …?”

We check that an address can receive mail before creating the account, so a typo in the domain or a throwaway inbox gets turned away. Fix the address and press Create account again.

I never got a confirmation email

There isn't one to get. Your account is ready the moment you press Create account.

My church invited me — do I use the link?

Either works. Sign up with the address the invitation was sent to and you're added to your church's account as staff automatically, even if you never click the link.
