Sign in to Aligned
You're on a new computer, or your session timed out right before you needed a draft. Signing in takes a moment, and if the password is the problem, a code sent to your email gets you in without one. One account signs in to both Aligned Leader and Aligned Church.
1/7 · Go to aligned.church/login and tap Leader under Open after sign-in
Good to know
- The sign-in box that opens inside the app (from Log in, or when a session runs out) takes your password only. For an email code, go to aligned.church/login.
- If your session runs out while you're typing, a card opens over the chat that says “You've been signed out.” Sign in there and you're back in the same conversation with your message still in the box — nothing was sent and nothing counted.
If it’s not working
It says “Invalid login credentials.”
That means either the password is wrong or there's no account at that address — it can't tell which. If you're sure of the password, you may have signed up with a different email. Try Email code: it tells you plainly when an address has no account.
It says “We couldn't sign you in. If you don't have an account yet, create one first.”
The code was fine, but there's no Aligned account at that address. Try the other addresses you use, or see Find chats that went missing if you think you signed up twice.
The code never arrived
Check your spam folder first, and wait a minute before asking again (“We just sent you a code. Wait a moment and try again.” means one is already on its way). If nothing ever arrives, email us — the address is on aligned.church/support — and we'll check that address can receive mail.
“That code isn't right” or “Too many attempts”
A typo uses up one of your 5 tries. After too many, press Resend code for a fresh one and use the newest email.
I opened Aligned from a Facebook link and it keeps signing me out
Facebook's built-in browser can forget your sign-in. Open aligned.church in Safari or Chrome instead. If a banner offers Open in Safari (or Open in Chrome), tap it — it carries your sign-in across.
