Get walked through a task, step by step
Reading how to do something is one thing; seeing it done on the screens you're looking at is another. ShowMe opens Aligned's step-by-step guides right over the app — pick a topic, and each guide shows you where to click with an animated walkthrough. Then its own ShowMe walks you through the same steps on your own screen, one at a time.

Good to know
- Two more ways in: Resources → ShowMe opens the full list, and Support starts with Search Aligned Guides and the Common issues — what people most often get stuck on. When our team answers a how-to question, the reply can carry a button that opens the right guide there and then.
- The ✨ pill above the message box (Show me sermon prep, say) and the ShowMe button on a feature screen open that task's topic with its guide first.
- A few small things still point at the real buttons as you go — Continue your draft, Save your work, Repurpose This Draft, and walkthroughs a link in one of our emails starts. While one is running, ShowMe shows its steps above the topics.
- The walkthrough uses your real account, so pressing a real button really does it — a Save saves, a Send sends.
- A guide for something outside the app — creating an account, signing in, resetting a password — has Full guide at the top instead of ShowMe. On a computer it opens the guide's own page at aligned.church/guides, handy for sending to someone on your team.
If it’s not working
There's no ShowMe button
ShowMe needs an account, so it appears once you've signed in. On a phone it also steps out of the header on the Automations screen and while you're making posts or graphics in Media — go back to the chat to find it, or use Support → Search Aligned Guides.
ShowMe says it can't spot the button
The guide's example isn't quite your screen — your sermon has a different title, or the button is on a screen you haven't opened yet. Do what the step says, then press Next. When the button is tucked inside a menu, ShowMe rings the menu first: press it, and the ring moves to the button.
The guides didn't load
Check your connection and open ShowMe again. Every guide is also at aligned.church/guides.
I can't find a guide for what I'm trying to do
Search for what you're trying to do, the way you'd say it to a friend. If nothing matches, Talk to a person under the results opens Support, and we'll answer (and write the guide).
